Country Houses (sub. Architecture)

These characteristic houses from the French and Swiss countryside were popular in and around the 19th century and still are today. Understandably so, with their chalet type architecture and A-frames they are a home away from home and the rural destinations for many a holiday. 

Depending on which region of France or Switzerland you are in, the look of these houses differs. In this creating this collection, we were fascinated by their rustic fairytale aesthetics.
